NICE! First motor I ever worked on was out of a 1980 CT90, in a bit rougher shape than yours. There is a huge difference between that motor and what we're used to, the ignition is driven off the cam instead of the crank. You may have already noticed the wire coming from the cam cover; there is a points assembly in there. If you take the cover off, DO NOT LOOSE the dowel pin holding the points rotor to the cam shaft. It's slightly bigger than a grain of rice and loves to disappear at inopportune times. The other fun tidbit is the high/low secondary gearbox. Does it still have the spare gas can that strapped to it? |

YESSSSSS it has the spare gas can. its so complete its awesome! i was so happy to get a hold of it. i really wish it was more like a 50 motor but it should be a blast too.

I see very good condition ones go for 900-1200 here in the San Francisco area.

thats what ive seen them going for. it just needs the motor back in along with the wireing loom. the forks need to be cleaned, painted and put back on. then a few more things and its a complete bike. im just busy right now and figured it i can sell it still in some pieces i would. 700 should be good then Id think | |
