Full resto here-Parts and Pics needed

Ok guys im taking on a Z50 resto. Ive had one since i was 8 and dont want to touch it. I bough another over the weekend i want to make it a custom resto. I though i new some things about these bike but i really have no clue. Its a 71 year but i see so many differances from my 70 and ever pics online. From the paint on them to the brake cable set up and K1,K0,K2 and so on. I hope i cam to the right place to get all the info parts pics and help i need to make this a sweet ride for the summer on the islands.
Parts:Head lamp, tail lamp, tail bracket, brake cables throttle cable grips/throttle handle, levers, handle bars, full wiring harness battery and of course pics of bikes so i know how to do it right. I want a 108cc kit if anyone has one or knows where to get one.
Thanks
Mike Novaboy71@aol.com

Hey Mike, have fun with the restore, I am just finishing up a candy blue/silver 1969 Z50 myself!

Here are some parts we have for the Z50. Are you sticking with the old 6 Volt engine or getting a newer 12V style engine (the 108cc stroker is the 12V style.)

OK so 108 is 12 can the 88 be 6V. I like the site i need a lot off of it. I have so many questions about how to do this thing rite. Like is the rear brake suposed to have the foot and hand break or just 1 how does the brake lite switch work? stuff liek that.

Mike,
I am far from knowing everything concerning resto's, but there are guys on this site who know a lot. Here is also a good site to check out:

Honda50.com Z50 Identification Guide

Yes the 88 bore kits will work on the 6V.

No problem, I actually do have a bin of spare parts built up from some Z's so I will go through it and email you later.

Can you post pics of your bike. So we can verify if it's a K1 or K2.
