My Mood: | Gearing?
I am running a 110cc lifan in my clone with the 70cc gearing it came with when you let off the throttle it is as if there is some drag/engine braking/going on should i get a bigger/smaller rear sprocket or a bigger smaller engine sprocket? It is just like running your car in low

Thanks but no one seems to be able to tell me what the optimum front and rear sprockets are for a Z50 w/Lifan 110cc semi-auto on 8inch wheels!!!!!!

how fast do you want to go? I'm running 16/34 on my Lifan 125 and top out at about 55mph (and it gets there pretty quick)

| Re: Gearing? Quote: With 8" wheels, you'll be going pretty small on the rear. Figure about 60-65mph top speed with a 110-125 chinese engine. You'll want to be around 10K rpms pinned in 4th at your max speed. 8" tires will hurt overall performance thus the reason why we all move to 10's and 12's. | |
