Still very much a work in progress missing quite a few parts, paint, pinstripes, front fender, saddlebags and windshield. It's going to be all black. 110 cc of raw third world power. Right side mounted carb. Match ported carb, intake, and head. 17 tooth counter sprocket, open low exhaust. Ferado race compound brakes and longer brake levers. Gold DID chain. Speedo gear in front wheel in place of spacer. Michelin DOT street tires, I-shock fully adjustable rear "springer" suspension, KonTour Seat. Bar end mirrors. Plastic Chaly clone custom mounted fenders. All 12V electrics including electric start, HID H4 hi/low headlight with Kissan modulator. Turn signals. Parking light. Lighted speedometer. 5ah SLA Interstate battery. A plug in for a heated vest is included if the alternator can handle it. Maybe some additional Hella micro HID or LED driving lights up front. Projected top speed of 65mph. Designed to be fully street legal and DOT compliant - right down to the FAKE DOT stamping on the wheels. Last edited by RonKMiller; 12-27-2007 at 09:01 AM. |

That bike is very cool (except the seat! It looks like that seat should be on my grandmas electric get around scooter).

I can see you.............. Move that air filter over to the clutch side, it will look much better. Surprisingly, the seat doesnt bother me. |

I can see that the seat will be comfortable and very supportive BUT With the seat that high up and that far back, how are you going to keep the front end on the ground? I can see the front end flying up if you hit a bump at speed just something to think of Otherwise looks like you've got alot of work into the whole bike, keep it up. **I just think the seat needs to be about 3 inches lower and 2 inches farther forward for stability** |

Well, I could have put one of THESE on! The seat - while out of proportion to the rest of the bike - is supposed to be comfortable It is a composite design, top layer is perforated Alcantara, and underneath that: breathable mesh, water proofing and heat reflecting barrier, 1/2 inch of medium density visco elastic (memory) foam, 1" of high density visco elastic foam, 1" of polyurethane foam. When you're 6 feet tall, 215 lbs. with a 31 inch inseam sitting on a log for more than a few minutes ain't gonna work. Once it is complete with the bulky looking front fender, saddlebags and all black paint it should tend to "balance" things out quite a bit, then it won't look so huge. I hope! |

Surprisingly its only 5 inches higher and 6 inches farther back than stock! My weight is centered well forward of the rear wheel since I now lean forward and down slightly to reach the handlebars.

I thought I was the only fat bastard that rides minis. I'm 5'11" and weigh 220 (atm). I feel like a circus bear when I ride a Z. |

Actually I'll probably look more like a Power Ranger with my full face helmet, armored jacket, pants and boots. Those eight inch wheels and potholes are going to be challenge.

nice innovative work. I doubt the bike will come close to 65mph though. Maybe 50 downhill. |

Nice work!! Seat doesn't look right imo but you aren't building this to please anyone else so I'm sure you will enjoy it.

I dunno - 17 tooth counter sprocket for one heck of an overdrive in 4th gear, street tires at 36 psi (rated, for less rolling resistance), match porting and head work along with the straight out exhaust, (it WILL breathe at higher rpm's) new wheel bearings and chain, (less drive train resistance) and the windshield, (A huge factor) and 110cc of raw ricer power. We're talking over 1/10th of a liter here! Oh yeah, then there's my fat lard ass and big chest. DARN Maybe 55 off a cliff?
