goin to begin more mods to my z50r and wanting a little help on wot to do

hey guys.
i have a z50 with applied fork springs and she sits fairly front end high and wanting to level her out. i was thinkin extendin the swinger and adding longer shocks. just wanted to know wot length of shockies and extra lenghth on stock swinger would make her sit level.

Maybe try 280-285mm shock length to raise the end up.

I Have The Kitaco 280mm Shocks And The Kitaco +2 Swinger On My 96 Z50r. You Might Need The 300mm Shocks And The +2 Or The +4 Swingarm. I Purchased Mine At Classic Honda Performance. They Have Them In Stock. The Shocks Are About $90 And The Swinger Is About $275. Major Difference In The Handling!

i just put the same springs in the front of my woman's Z50

we are not building it for racing or jumping really, but what is the stock lenght of the rear shocks (in mm) so i can order some aftermarket shocks that DrATV has. i only need it to sit about an inch higher in the rear than it currently does, and we won't be changing the swinger...after all it's HER bike and she likes it the way it is but the rear springs are just too soft

I added 2.5 inches to my stock swinger, then moved the shock mount to where it should be 2.5 inches closer to the bike on the swinger. Works crazy good, like a cat, meow, meow.

These are same ones I use(CT 70), here are a pair on Ebay. A little paint, some new bushings!

Try this stuff, not just the tires, but look around the bike, notice any thing different?

i like it , it sits awesome. are you runnin the applied springs aswell? also if you could measure the distance between the top shock mount hole to where the old bottom one used to be so i can get an idea of wot lenght the shocks ill need to get.

IF YOU GO WITH THE +2 SWINGARM YOU WILL NEED THE 280MM SHOCKS LIKE I HAVE. THE KITACO ONES ON MY ARE ADJUSTABLE AND IMPROVE THE BIKE GREATLY!! NOT SPONGES LIKE THE OEM ONES.
