I got these from a buddy who assured me I have all the parts to put all 3 of these together. I was thinking about building two of these up for now. One for the wife and one for myself. I was searching around for parts and stumbled upon some Lifan engines. They look like exact copies of the Honda 70cc engines. Are these quality and worth the $280 price?

the lifan engines are good provided you arent going to beat the motor constantly. ive romped on my 125cc quite a bit, and its held up for two long seasons very well. for the price its hard to beat IMO. id kill to get my hands on the third rolling frame...lol

If you got all that for $100, I'd say you got a great deal! & in my personal experience the lifan engines are great...plug and play wiring harnesses are @ dratv.com.

Yeah, you did allright. Looks to me like you could put two engines together easily from what you have, though, unless you're just after more power on a budget.

a deal? more like a STEAL!!! like have said many more time before i before i messed my lifan up by doing incorrect mechanical work to it, it would take beatings, i would take for a short 2 mile wide with it being WOT 80% percent of the ride.

looks like the Alaska membership is slowly growing.

AK-Bandit you live where there is a LOOOONG cold winter you should have plenty of time to rebuild those engines and the bikes too.

heck yes we are growing and there are a heck of a lot of trails up here too it is a rather large state.

well i live not too far from you in wasilla presently
and i was out driving around the detours in palmer when i swear i saw a CT in some ones back yard screaming for me to rescue it but i have to find it again so i can talk to them and see if they want it out of the yard.... (hoping)

as i find out more info i will update and let you all know about "Operation CT Rescue"

Oh yeah, I've already got dibs on the third CT (if he sells it)!

I was looking at houses a few months back in Anchorage and saw two nice z50s behind the house. Knocked on the door and it turns out they belong to the guys brother and he said he wasn't interested in selling them. I think I may have to go back one of these days with a handful of cash and see if that changes his mind.

I'm the buddy that has dibs! Ak Bandit is responsible for my CT obsession that started this summer after I saw one of the bikes he'd gotten from a friend. I started looking for one for myself right after that and ended up buying a completely trashed bike that is costing way more to fix up than I'd planned!
