Re: gpx 125

The GPX is no more reliable than the Lifan 150 I don't think.

However, you can always buy yourself a 140 for a little more and it comes with a better head.

does it even have the plumbing for an oil cooler? my lifan 125 doesn't have one and seems to be just fine... so far.

Re: gpx 125

We've been running a couple of them without coolers for a while now no problem on the street. The GPX 125s dont have the oil cooler jumper you just run it off the head if you want a cooler. Most any CT pipe will work. I have the Kitaco CT up pipe on mine and my buddy Butch got a pretty nice pipe from Staggs that was off an OGM I think (Pitster X4 type) it was practically a direct fit for around $75. Just needed a small jumper bracket to bolt up. I see if I can come up with a pic.

Re: gpx 125

Her'es mine...GPX125 with a TB 146 kit (no oil cooler) Kitaco pipe. I'll get a pic of Butch's pipe tomorrow. I'm sure most of the low pipes would work as well if you like those.

That is an issue but it can be overcome fairly easy. I used a CRF50 peg bracket (has a sidestand mount). Had to use 1/4" spacers and slightly longer bolts to lower the whole assy a little to clear the wider clutch cover. You may have to tweak the brake pedal a little also.

Re: gpx 125

This is basically the same pipe we put on Butch's CT but it says OGM on it. I'm sure there are lots of "Take-offs" out there for low $$. Sorry I havent got a pic of it yet maybe saturday I'll bring my camera to the shop. It's actually a pretty nice pipe and fit the CT well. You just have to make sure it's for the Honda style head and not the bigger YX motors.
