Guess what my dad bought me.

A new tank and seat. I was complaining a lot recently about my braces and he asks, "Will you stop complaining if I buy you a seat and tank for your bike?" I am completly stoked and of course say yes. And I get to keep the money from selling my current parts. So the seat is from DrATV and the tank is from Trail Bikes. Pretty sweet right? Yeah. My bike is going to look awesome. I am really happy right now. Oh, and I also ordered the parts for my TERB(finally) but I have to pay for those myself.

Yep. Can't wait until they get here so I can install them and take pictures. Hopefully I'll still have some time to ride. My first day of High School is September 5th. Tomorrow is the last day of summer and I can't even enjoy it with my Z. That's just sad but I can still hit some jumps with my friends on my bicycle.

wow!

Q that Z is gonna be brand new looking soon!

I thought your tank was ok... it just needed new decals?

What's wrong with your braces?

Yeah. It's going to be scary to go trail riding. Maybe I'll keep the stock parts and use them when I ride. Then put the new parts on for pictures and show and stuff.

I may or may not sell the parts. I still haven't decided. Thanks for the comments.

Yeah. He got me a complete bike for Christmas two years ago. That's what got me into this. I'm glad he did. It took like two months to get it running though.

I agree! Very cool Dad you have there. My dad started my motorcycle life when I was 11 with a Cat minibike.

I think I just complain about the pain too much. Braces really hurt.

I second that notion, although its been 5 years plus since I had them. They are by far WORTH IT!

The tank arrived today via UPS. Looks good and it's so shiny I'm affraid to touch it. I haven't mounted it because I have the bike assembled with the wheels and all leaning against a pole. I don't want it to fall over and put a big ass dent in my new tank. So it's in a box on the workbench. Here are some pictures of the two being compared.

Old tank.

New one.

Real nice tank. Make sure the seat does not rub off the paint like the old tank.

Old tank has three dents and one is hard to see because it's behind a sticker. I'll take a picture when I finish my algebra homework.
