Hardtail rear footpeg tread pitch?

I was prepping my z50a hardtail frame for painting, and and I run a tread tap trough every treaded hole. For Buddypeg holes I used a 10mm tap with 1,5mm pitch, which I now think was wrong one. Right one is certainly 10mm, but what is the right pitch (1,0 or 1,25 or 1,5 mm)?
Maybe there will never be any use for those holes, but I just want to be sure.
