Having a little trouble with my 86 z50R

Hello,
This is my first post so first off...GREAT SITE!
I have been lurking for a little while and you guys have some nice bikes.
Recently I picked up a 1986 z50R and I'm having a small problem.
The bike starts first or second kick and runs fine until it warms up after about 5 min. Then it starts to stutter and will die until it cools off again.
It will idle fine after being warmed up but once I give it ANY gas it bogs and dies like the choke was on or something.
The oil and spark plug were just changed as well as a carb rebuild.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Having a little trouble with my 86 z50R

im new to the minis also all i can do is look in the manual loss of power in the trouble shooting section says it could be the sparkplug coil or condenser ,timing may be off carb dirty or adjusted incorrectly, wrong jet size, worn rings valves may need adjustment the muffler may be clogged or need decarbonization, my best guess is its the carb or timing advance or bad points stunami

Re: Having a little trouble with my 86 z50R

check your carb, air filter etc.bike that are running rich run good cold, worse when hot.check your float height, also check your pilot circuit,it has such small passages it is easy to overlook,be sure pilot jet is clear-even if you can see through it,it can be restricted from old fuel buildup, try new pilot,or run wire,or jet drill bit through it to be sure.also check your fuel tank venting.sounds like you may have multiple issues possibly.i believe that you will find your problem somewhere in the carb/fuel system.
goodluck

Re: Having a little trouble with my 86 z50R

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
It seems to be getting better with a little use so I'm still thinking fuel problem.
I just havn't had the time to try and rebuild it.
Does anyone know somewhere I can send the carb to be rebuilt right?
