I've looked around on my 79 CT70 and I don't see where a helmet hook would be. Am I blind or can someone tell where it's supposed to be?

Did you try looking under the seat? I don't know. Just a guess.

left side of the frame, underneath the side of the seat.

Went to 4 or 5 different microfiche websites before finially finding a listing for the '79 HERE. Normally, when the part number is omitted on the microfiche diagram, its a good indication that it has been discontinued from Honda.
Trying to navigate the Service Honda site can be a royal PITA, but the numbers I was able to get from there are:

50710-086-007 - Helmet holder, Hondalock

50710-110-701 - Helmet holder

It appears that 1972 was the first year for the helmet holder, and randomly browsing through a few of the years between '72 and '78 shows the same part number as above for those years' CTs.

My 79' CT70 doesn't have a helmet lock. I don't think think they came with a lock for the 79'.
