Help on fork springs

Anyone know an easy way to get the top spring holder off the sring?

Wont budge. Thanks.

Hold the aluminum piece in a vise (not too hard or you'll break it) use a big screwdriver and hammer and tap the spring end in the direction to unscrew it.

Buy two bros springs. They include the top piece.
