| HELP needed for clutch cable for Honda Gorilla
Greetings to all. I am just one small step from finishing my Gorilla bike project....but have stampled upon a difficulty. Bike had a very tiny clutch level thus i ordered a new one , longer. item bought is Alloy Brake Clutch Levers Master Cylinder Monkey Dax Xr on eBay (end time 21-Jul-09 23:29:20 BST) I also have bought a new clutch cable from honda. The problem is that although the clutch cable is long enough to reach both the level and the motor when fitted it always keeps the clutch pressed. The reason this is happening is because of the short length of clutch cable wire. Can you PLEASE tell me where to locate a new clutch cable with a longer limit of wire to use? Or how i can make this OEM honda clutch cable give me more of the wire ... I hope i explained as much as i could...since English in not my native language. |

Nice build. Regarding your cable situation, I have in the past just taken my cable (which was too short or long) to the local bike shop and they fixed it for me. Cost about $12.
