| Honda Ape 100
As the title states how hard is it to come by one titled in the states or how do you go about getting one? I have been looking at them an i think i might like this a bit more them my monkey clone for a first build as i am bit of a heavier guy an i want to beable to cruise at 55 seems more realistic this route. Dont take this as me giving up on the monkey im still very much into it i just wanna build the monkey for more of a show piece an not so much of a weekly rider.

Why would you want an Ape??? Didnt you hear the news about the chimp that tore that lady's face off? Monkeys are safer. LOL On a serious note, there arent many Apes (the Honda kind) around. The guys to talk to on this subject would be Brad or Z (I always get the two confused). One of them has an Ape and may be able to point you to one that may be for sale -but have your Black Amex card ready cause they are mucho dinero. There is one other member who bought one (titled) in California but I dont recall the name. You might want to do a search. Which would you choose? ![]() ![]() Last edited by ducatilover; 02-26-2009 at 11:15 PM. |

China makes a "copy" of the Ape. I don't think it is legal in the US though.

I am the other guy with one also. And yes they are not cheap unless you find someone that doesn't know what they have, which is highly unlikely. Brad had it easy getting it titled. I have had a bit more trouble getting mine done but it is done now, but it took alot of work. |
