Ouch 300,000 yen. They look cool though. I'm digging the red/white and the blue/silver color combos.

It looks as if it has a DOHC, when did Honda develop this?

Fuel injected...sweet. If it's not legal to import one, why did you add that you wouldn't be importing one? Kinda confusing Dan.

You can import the engine and/or components couldn't ya? (Just to get the injection setup)

Not confusing. I'm stating I want no part in importing these bikes and don't want people asking me to import them. Since customs is opening alot of crates lately, I don't want the NHTSA and EPA up my backside levying fines if I would get caught. Not worth the headaches.

Importing in a complete engine would also be illegal and against EPA guidelines unless someone took the funds and got this approved. Wait a year or two and those engines will be over here in some fashion.

Notice the Cat. Converter on the exhaust.

That's nearly ~$3,000 bucks! Yikes but still very cool.

why not just import the head and efi system? of course the efi system is going to need a tuner module but thats ahead of the point ... :P

The same can be said for Cocaine and other illegal drugs, but it still doesn't make it legal.

It's not hard to do, it's just not worth getting caught for a $3500 monkeybike.

so it's the EPA why should they care, doesn't japan have tighter emissions controls requirements than the us, i highly doubt they are smog machines.

Yes, Japan has stricter emissions standards, but they haven't submitted it (and they won't) to the EPA so they can certify it as emissions compliant.

RETARDED!!!!!!!!!!!

wooopps that makes more since. like it would cost the epa that much to get hold of the first one leagly imported and shove a prob in tail pipe and measure the emissions.
