How do I fix this?

I don't even know if it's possible to fix this but...

I was goofing around on the beater bike today and I was doing some wheelies. I suck but that's not the point. I was shifting from first to second and revved it before letting up on the shifter. Well basically I flipped the bike and was fortunate enough not to have it land on me. But the fall took its toll on the rear fender. It didn't break but it bent and won't bend back. It looks like this:

Is there any way to get it to be shaped like it should? I just don't want to ride a bike that looks like that.

A heat gun and an oven mit to protect your hands. You should be able to reshape it.

Re: How do I fix this?

What do you have the fender on there for anyway? I thought you took it off to make your bike lighter/faster?

Re: How do I fix this?

Take the fender off and lay it on a board, maybe with a towel over the board to keep scratches down. Try using a rubber mallet to beat out the dents from the inside of the fender. If that doesn't work, you may have to use an auto body hammer and a dolly. You'd be surprised how much you can do with just using your hands alone to to bend, press, and beat out dents.

Even with plastic? It's a plastic fender. I don't see myself hammering out dents in plastic.

Re: How do I fix this?

How about a new fender? Or just continue to practice your wheelies on this one until you've mastered it...then get a new fender.

Likely, you'll need a heat gun and some patience. A hair dryer won't do squat.

Re: How do I fix this?

Well, it needs to get fixed. So guess I'll try the hair dryer because I don't have heat gun.

Re: How do I fix this?

If that's thermoSET plastic you can't just heat gun it back to shape. Time to get a new fender.

Partially I don't want my dad to see that I cartwheeled his bike, but also, it looks like crap.
