ive had my mini everywhere from a hitch rack like that ^^^ to strapped to the roof of my trailer, to the back seat of my truck, to the front rack of my quad to just INSIDE the camping trailer with nothing but the kickstand down (no clue how it didnt fall over 2 hour drive out down brutal gravel roads) Whatever it takes i make sure it comes camping with me! Im thinking im gonna weld up a rack like that but for the front of the truck. My friend has a nice rig, big truck, with a camper and his bikes on the front bumper kinda so no trailers to pull 4x4 into the most remote camping spots its perfect |

I have a tray I bought that slides right in my class 3 hitch on my Pathfinder. Got it for @ $100 at a autoparts store. Works good, just need to ratchet it down tight soo it doesn't flop onto the tailgate.

I know that's a bigger bike, but you could build one to a smaller scale........

Why would you bother putting a hitch hauler on the back of an empty truck?

Minis fit in little hatch backs. ![]() ![]() Although i would love a well designed Aluminum hitch setup for my APE. Im really not all that down for it to ride on its side anymore as there are too many nice parts on the bike now. |

Nice Brad! I have a 97 explorer and do the same thing. Hope to not get any gas on the carpet! That happened to me once. Took a month to get the smell out of there! = ) |

What are you driving? In my Plymouth Minivan the CT70 fits behind the driver seat in front of the passenger seat wedged in like, the Z50 clone fits in the way back. Just pick up the front wheel then roll it in, or use a board to save your back. I have yet to get both in at the same time, but assume it is doable, it will just limit passenger seating... I've also been thinking about getting one of the HF cargo racks for my hitch, the aluminum one looks nice, but I am leary having once dumped 4 bikes on the Highway at 70 mph, held on only by a safety line/rope. Good Luck! Last edited by drewbird911; 03-16-2009 at 09:55 AM. Reason: Typo |
