Hydraulic Clutch - Want to install on Lifan 150cc

Has anyone installed a Hydraulic Clutch on a Lifan 150cc with Daytona Style Clutch cover?

Whats involved in installing if it's possible?

Apparently that is no bolt on mod according to Dan. I believe the few hydraulic kits I have seen are for the KLX style motors.

My problem is that I got a new upswept pipe. The stainless header clears the clutch lever unlike the NHRC pipe. But I will have to make a new offset bracket to hold the clutch cable. This pushes the clutch cable along the cylinder and head so close I am affraid it will melt the cable housing.

It looks like a regular one, but where the actuating arm enters at the top, there's a banjo fitting. I haven't used it, so I'll swap it on to one of my motors by the end of the weekend, to be sure all's swell with it.

I need to find a lever and resevoir and actuator. Anyone know where to find this for a good deal? I have seen 300.00 which I cannot afford at all.

The lever that comes with the kit sucks anyway.. I found this for you on ebay, it's a Piranha. This thing looks nice, maybe you can make it fit.. The only thing that worries me is the 45 degree banjo angle..

I know, if you have to ask you can't afford. But planning ahead is always better. Would like to know whats involved with that setup.

Mine seems to work fine. Will work even finerer, once it's bled better. Even swap, if you want it. I'll get a pic tomorrow. Mine's plain, no logo.

In theory, self adjusting, smooth pull and engagement... But let's be honest here, in a mini application such as a Lifan 150 it's mostly all bling..
