I personally think it will look stupid and weird. Fat/Solid wheel in the back with a skinny/spoked front wheel. Weird.

I've seen a couple, looks kinda cool, maybe unique is a better word? I have a set of XR75 forks, and was thinking I would run a spoked wheel up front, because it is skinnier.... therefore hopefully will fit between the forks....

Not a fan of the look myself, but to each their own. I like the look of the wide z50 tripples, hell the wider the better. When it was time to upgrade i even took it wider with the G craft setup. Im running a 4.0 rim in the back and a 3.5 up front. even with a 120 wide tire ive still got room between the fork legs. Sure going with the pinner xr is a easy swap out, but IMO its a bad choice. here is some pics of the wide front setup im running. ![]() |

The ZB forks are 30 mil forks and the upper tubes are near identical to NSR50 forks. you can fit them in a set of ZB triples, NSR triples, or aftermarket ones for a 30 mil fork. I suggest some G Craft Triples if you can source them and float the bill. Either way your still running a drum brake with that fork setup so it may not be worth it to you. | |
