ignition swapping help?

I posted this in the Chinese section too. Not sure if the forum police will object to that or not, but rest assured my intentions are good; I'm trying to do my best and recycle potentially useful parts here. For the purposes of building a fuel-saving commuter vehicle. I might even try to jet it for E85. So save the planet and help me out already.

I want to run a top end and crank off a China 110 ATV (Jackel) in a set of 6V Honda 50/70 cases. The 110 motor is an E-start setup. Will any 6V points ignitions work on this crank taper/cases combination? If not, how about later 12V ignitions? Firepower354 suggested an aftermarket internal rotor setup, and I suppose I could do that but if possible I'd prefer to find a combination of salvageable stock parts to do the job.

I'm okay with large amounts of flywheel intertia and don't have hi-po plans for this thing, really. And I like the easy field-repair aspect of points. I'm kind of a Luddite like that.

Suggestions?
