Well kind of along story but back in 1971 my grandma entered in a drawing for this at the supermarket. She won it. My mom rode it when she was a kid. Then after a few months it went into storage until I found it today. The bike is in awsome condition. It does need a few parts because my mom broke them when she was a kid. Not sure what type of build I'm going to do but which ever way I go, it has to be slow. I sold the ZB so I could move home from AZ, buy a house and have a kid. I miss her but here is the replacement... ![]() Last edited by jmurray192; 11-05-2009 at 03:12 PM. |

That is a beauty. Replace whats broken and just leave it as is. I would not butcher up a nice surviver like that with a little bit of history. Now how many of us can say that we ride our moms first bike. Your mom must be pretty young. |

Im going to have to sit on this one for awhile. I may do a full restore then after its done take it all apart and do a full custom who knows with me... I do think a g-craft swinger would good on it ether way. Im working also on my 71 chevy SWB in the background and its got priority over this CT. |

Don't hack that up...you'll regret it. If you are going to build something...do just that...build it.

It will have to stay stock since you'll need to be able to afford gas in at least one mode of transportation...

. But I back. Im really getting the bug again. Really weird that I never knew about this bike. Everyone just kind of forgot about it. My grandmas pretty old and she seems to forget alot......lol and just never went to storage. Another thing just came up when I went to my step dads he said he had an old 50 just sitting out in the barn. Its probley around 60-70 Z. But Its pretty gone. I dont think anythings savageable. Who knows that could be my next custom! Can you tell I think I have the bug again. | |
