My Mood:  | im torn what to do what to do
well i started this build not thinking correctly i did my whole 89 z black and flo green not thinking about the lack of choice of plastics now ive got a brand new set of NOS plastic and i hate to paint them black what should i do  im thinkin either re powder the bike to oem colors or screw it and paint them up  |

o yea i also got my new set of wheel halves in today blasting them tomorrow and carryin them to the coater

but if i go oem it wont be correct to the year its an 89 so the plastic should be red

im thinkin maybe if i put a zebra print seat cover on it it wont looks so bad with white plastics also

keep that plastic find a used set and use those? I dont know much about Z's to know if its easy to find more plastic or not but I would keep the OE stuff and get some used stuff to paint up and see if you like it and if not go back to the original stuff...

i personally would ditch those colors, go with a white frame and swinger and call it a day, maybe black hubs with that?

yea only thing is i do the the sandblasting and getting fresh powder off is a beotch and a half im thinkin the same tho zbbt

Maybe you could get some green number plate background vinyl and use it to cover the number plate and large sections of the fenders. I got some in Yellow and am planning that for my son's z50r since he wants it to be yellow. Universal Backgounds - Universal Backgrounds - Dirt Digits Store I have not seen the green, so don't know how close it would be. Then, get a seat cover from Fast 50's to get rid of the red seat. Not a very good photoshopping but . . .  You should get the rear springs powder coated to match too. Plus some green grips. You could also add some green or black striping tape to the areas of white that are left to minimize it. Kinda Gawdy - but it would get your theme pretty well, and the number plate vinyl seems to be nearly indestructible. |

Try oven-off oven cleaner for taking the powder off. The acid in oven cleaner is pretty strong, and from what I've heard is good for taking powder off. | |
