| Installing Rear Shock Bushing
So I have a '96 Z50r. I bought some nice Kitaco shocks. I'm having a HUGE problem installing the bushings correctly. The bushings go in fine without the inside spacers.....but if I install the inside spacers into the bushings it is impossible to push the bushings back into the shock. I'm not really sure what to do?? I've tried to use a vice to squeeze them in, but to no avail. Any help is really appreciated. Preferably dumb step-by-step directions. -Sam |

Grease may help, I had to throw some on and it still took a good effort to slip those suckers in.

I've greased it down with plenty of motor oil and it either goes in sideways or just squishes as I cinch down the vice. Without the metal insert I can press the bushing in with my fingers. |
