My Mood: | Interesting info regarding extended swingarm
On a whim, I ordered a used '98 XR70 swingarm for an upcoming project. It is a monoshock setup, but I am not sure if I will do that or mod it for twins. The interesting thing is that the mounting spots are identical to a Z50, requiring no mods to bolt onto the Z frame. I have an XR80 setup I needed to cut the small amount off of each side, but this is not necessary on these swingarms. I have not done anything with it yet, but thought that bit of trivia might be of interest to someone, and I had not seen it posted before. |

You did notice there is like 45 degrees of swing arm angle with no shock installed right? You would have to cut the whole A design off and weld some shock tabs on.
