| Jetting question (20mm carb)
well here is my question, I've installed a lifan 90cc in my 77 Z50, with a 20mm carb kit and a minigunz exhaust. Now it fires up and idles well but as soon as you hit on the throttle it bogs down and practically dies. I assume its a jetting problem, although maybe could it be the air/fuel mixture screw as I havn't fiddled with that yet either. Anyways any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks Layne |

Yes you are probably right thinking its the fuel/air mixture screw. Try going a half turn in either direction until it starts to clear up. That screw is 0 - 1/4 throttle and greatly effects just off throttle response. It could be the pilot as well, but usually if its easy to start and idles fine its usually just the fuel/air screw.
