jincheng lynx Z50 clone

I know nothing about these but can get a running one for $100 but it doesnt have plastics! Do they sell aftermarket plastics for these like the newer XR and CRF's and if so where. Are these common on here or just a waste of time. Im concerned if something break I wont be able to replace it. Its the same style as the late 90's Z50's and was wondering if everything is interchangable. Thanks all!

Oh, and it will be a true pit bike not a build up and race bike.....something for the old lady to use to go to the restrooms or concessions!!!!!

Re: jincheng lynx Z50 clone

my girl has one it's blue and she flipped it stunting and found OEM plastics online..she's in the shower or i'd hit her up for the link for it...this thing's been rgeat, 88 TB light bore on it and some HD springs and bushings in the front, then i built a big bar kit for it with some pro-tapers and a set of china risers and a bit of welding adn drilling.. ..love that bike, i was riding it today as a mater of fact

This is what it looks like! For $100 and it runs good I figure I could throw $150 into it and pimp it out. Does it seem like those plastics would fit? I dont know what they look like!

Re: jincheng lynx Z50 clone

from having one, the repro rear fender on tbolts store looks just liek the one on tehlynx we have, should bolt right up ( every other honda part has so far)

from the jincheng dealer my girl found on the web while searchign she got the rear piece shipped at 46 bucks ( not too shabby) but they are kinda brittle... if the repro stuff is flexible and strong it might be worth teh extra loot just to not have to replace it if you loop the bike

Re: jincheng lynx Z50 clone

I have a lynx 50 too and so far the only Honda part that I have bought that has fit is the Front fender. Got it on ebay. break lever shift lever and would not fit. Its tough to find parts for. if you find a good site let me know. I have a 2004 and they dont make them anymore, for what a dealership said. It is hard to get parts for them. I just dont know what year parts from a z50 or xr50 to use. If you figure it put let me know. THanks
