Just because you can do something, doesn't mean that you should. I saw this fugly Z50R abortion on ebay just now and thought I'd share.

FUGLY Z50

I guess it does have a lot of newish parts, but to my eye, they should never have been put together.

After reading his description, it seems likely that it has a very high reserve that will not be met within the bidding cycle. It also seems likely that the seller might be kind of eccentric, and maybe interesting to talk to.

I like a Z's solid wheels better from a looks and nostalgia standpoint, plus no annoying spoke maintenance, but I would be interested to ride that thing and see how it felt.
