you can get street tires at www.scooterpartsdirect.com also dr.atv sells some tires for 19 bucks each, he doesn't list the brand but they're cheap. |

You'll also have to upgrade the wiring and lights to 12V, as the electrical system on the CT70 is only a 6V system.

I'm liking that Zongshen 125cc better than the 110cc lifan. How hard is it to swap it over to 12V? I'm mechanically challenged, but I would like to be able to do it myself.

| Bullet proof so far Quote:
It has a 23/27 valves, 54x54 bore/stroke, bigger 20mm counter shaft so you need the appropriate counter sprockets, and a ring-style stator, like the ZB, not a half lighting coil and half ignition setup. Very robust so far. I am running a dual headlights (65watts total) and it keep them lit up. And the Flywheel is actually 4oz lighter than the one in my 110 zongshen. I haven't had any tranny issues either. I did dino based oil for the break-in and now running full synthetic. I ride street, so I do not know what would happen after grabbing 10-20 feet of air like the motard/pitbike races. But high rev shifting up and down, no problems. Matt (the seller) is a great guy to deal with too. | |
