| Light bulbs popping
So, ever since I have installed a new motor in my beloved CT70, I keep popping the rear running light and front headlight bulb. Checking the wiring, it is all correct and appropriate. The only thing that is different is that the ATC125M stator only produced 55-60 watts of power and my new stator makes 90W. Do I need to update my rectifier/regulator to accomodate? I am running the ATC125M version right now. Especially now that the motor cranks to 12k and I run it consistently around 8k. |

You answered your own question. You are getting too much voltage to the bulbs due to your new setup.
