Hi, If I have a CT70/ST70/XL70 engine, is there a different crank with a longer stroke that I can install in the engine ?

I would like to increase the displacement via a longer stroke. There was a CD90, a C90, a CT90, an ST90, and a TRX90. Were they 90cc via a longer stroke or a wider bore?

I personally have a 6-volt XL70 engine (4-speed manual) and a 12-volt ST70 engine (3-speed auto).

Also if I have a CT70/ST70 frame which other engines will fit into the frame without modification (the C90 engine?, the CT90?, the CT110?, the ST90?, the early TRX90?, the late TRX90?, the CRF70? engine, or others?)?

I have heard that the Wave/Nice 110cc engine fits in and while that would be a dream for me I don´t have that kind of money, sadly.

So I was thinking that there might be a way to install a longer crank into one of my engines.

I know there are some people who have built engines from the ground up (CFR cases, longer stroke cranks, bigger bores, etc), just that I am not an expert on these engines (yet!). And help would be greatly appreciated.

51 mm stroke:

52 & 54 mm stroke:
COMPONENT ENGINE PARTS_ONLY

With stroker cranks you have to pay attention to get the right connection rod lenght & piston height and the correct flywheel taper.
And of course the piston must match the cylinder head.

Maybe biggest gain / dollar would be a 150cc Lifan engine. Fits in the frame, I'm not so familiar with the electrics, maybe some modifications needed.
