| Look at my new front fender
It's off of a 2002 XR50. I wish I had gotten one from a 2005 CRF50 but I wasn't specific enough when asking so it's my fault. But anyway it looks pretty cool. I had to make new mounting holes to fit right on my Z50R forks. I still have to move the mounts a bit with a dremel to make it point straight forward. And look and the odometer. All that was done on just under 3 tanks of gas not even filled to the top. So lets just call that 55mpg. Not good for a motorcycle. And with the new cam, that's going down. I also pictured the new CRF50 head even though that doesn't mean much. And I finally got the engine to run right without the choke. Yay! It pulls a lot of wheelies when I let out the clutch so I have to remember to shift slower. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

z50s are the coolest. on the plus side, the deeper red color used for the XR fender will match that bike much better than the lighter color honda used for CRF plastic.

Looks good. If I might make a suggestion. Move that sticker back a couple inches & trim the fender shorter. Like so \/ ![]() I always thought the red XR fenders looked like a tongue hanging out - IMO EDIT - Whats the box for? Last edited by wreck; 08-22-2006 at 08:52 AM. |

It's a bit long but I'll keep it how it is. The color is a bit off but only noticable in certain light. And the box is to hold my combo lock and cell phone. It's padded on the inside to keep stuff from rattling. |

Yeah. I was just to lazy to tie my shoelaces when I was going to walk five steps into the garage.
