I am in Illinois and we have a grey market titling for bikes and cars at our DMV. Very easy to title. The bike is basically a xr100 frame so anything can be done to it. I have lots of plans for it as these are huge in japan, like all of the cool bikes. It won't be getting the DOHC motor but it will be getting a Superhead motor from Takegawa that plus I haven't decided yet on the dry clutch. We'll see as time goes on what goodies she will acquire.

YOu can easily pop in a xr200 or 250 motor in it and call it a day. I''ve been looking for one of these for quite a while but eventually gave up.

Wow I like the xr200 motor option! The bike is a 2002 and if anyone wants one I know of two more available. One is the red white and blue version while the other is black with the orange and white striping. I think one is stock and the other has a pipe. Also I know of xr50 and xr100 motards available brand new. None of them are super cheap but they are available.

The apes are all 50's the XR's are 1 100 and 2 50 I think all in red. Mine started out as a 50 but it does have the 80cc takegawa kit already on it. I don't like to post prices on forums so PM me if you really want to know.

What the point of having some rare and of interest to people and then chop it up and mod. Leave the mini a mini. It is cool because of what it is, a Honda Ape 50.

Trust me Razzo the mini is staying a mini. I am just going to turn it into the mini I always wanted. It won't be getting a chopped in motor but it will be getting the G Craft make over.
