Talking Low buck paint job with pic

Just figured id share my low buck paint job for anyone that wants to paint there bike and not do it with a rattle can, gotta have a air compressor though.

items needed
harbor freight spray gun 15 bucks
Small can of rustolum red paint 3.99
can of 100% mineral spirits 4.99

basically all u have to is reduce the paint down in a cup so its thin enough to be sprayed threw the gun i did it by eye in a cut in half soda can ,paints gotta be thinned but not to the point that when you spray it ,it makes a run but not so thick that it makes orange peel or clogs the gun, plus u can clean up afterwards with the mineral spirits you can buy clear coat but since the paints a gloss it shins nice allready.

gives you enough paint to the frame ,tank and still have alot left over.

its a paint job on a budget but looks pretty nice when done and since its rustolem it holds up great ive used this paint job on other off road bikes mainly trikes and its pretty tough.

pic a cell phone pic but thats all i got to take pics with

If you used lacquer paint, it is probably the closest match to the stock paint out their. It looks like you did a damn good job.

Nice work, I like seeing folks produce killer bikes without breaking the bank.

I also wish I had a shop like yours!
