Red face lucky me

puttin my stock engine back in my ct 70 clone everything was going ok ..came time to bolt the intake/carb back on the head have an off set intake 1 long bolt one short ,lined the intake and gasket up with the long bolt got the short bolt started and couldnt finger it in as far as i thought i should be able to so took the intake back off and was linin up the short bolt with its hole and dropped the washer down the port...gulp!!! scrambled around for a flash lite that worked peered down the port and the washer was resting on the valve stem!! almost tried fishing it out with a piece of ty wire
sat down and had a beer.. finally had a brain fart and went to the hardware store and bought a telescoopic magnet pen best $6 ive spent ..washer jumped
rite to it..took a second look after retrieving the washer and noticed the valve was open...yes i got lucky oohhmmm

nothing like a beer to allow you to sit back, relax a little and find a solution.

I have done it many times myself.

nice work.

aahhaha... but when the 18 pack is gone, you can use the aluminum to make that perfect tool or metal fender for your 50.
