the threads on the fly wheel were stripped had a difficult time trying to remove it finally got a 3"&a4" gear pullers,, switched the pullers fingers from the 3" to the 4" puller bolt,. because the 4" wouldnt fit in the slots of the fly wheel the wheel was on real good took a couple of times to get the pressure bolt to say straight so it would work but indoing so the bolt split thetop off of the main shaft i lost the last few threads. so the i needed a die to rethread the shaft .the nut now sticks out beyond the end of the shaft but the new threads hold well .today i discovered that the engine is a 70-71 k2 ahha in an 84 zframe good thing cause now im pretty sure the top end needs to be done over the 27mmx1.00 left hand thread tap can be made by tapco they will make any tap or die you need for a price of course this one is $152.00 i think i can get aflywheel cheaper than that Last edited by stunami; 09-05-2008 at 01:14 PM.
