MotoGP, Socal Riders?

I was hoping to meet up with some riders from down south at this year's MotoGP. How about it, anyone making the trip North? Superness, minibikedyke, shw911.....?

We need to try and get on the news and magazines again this year! Who could forget our media spokesman from last year?

Who's in?

We will be there Fri-Sun and likely at the race just Sun. You are welcome to pop the group ride cherry on the XR.

If there's a group ride or meet at Cannery Row, I might bring the CRF down

Yes sir and the irony was not lost on me in that the little banner underneath his name on the local Fox station said "Brad Reynolds - Owns a minibike...".

I'll check with Brad but I would think Saturday would be the big Cannery Row ride. Pete, you should drag my other bike up for Ernesto...

Re: MotoGP, Socal Riders?

I plan on spending much more time riding and hanging out in Monterey this year then at the track. Think ill only go to the track for the race.

So looking forward to it.

One of these years Im going to have to see if someone from overseas in either Belguim, UK or France wants to trade a bike loaner for the USGP weekend for a loaner on one of their meets/runs. I think it would be a killer experience on both sides.

Eddie,
Totally understand, it will be a budget trip for me as well and I plan to carpool to help. If something changes, shoot me a PM if you want to try and meet up.

I'm poor too. Just drive up Saturday morning and meet us at Monterey. Then sleep in your car at a rest stop on the way home. It's not too bad. Heck, I drove to LA to pick up the panda and drove back to SF the same day

Re: MotoGP, Socal Riders?

I was actually going to go. Probably not bringing anything though, the only streetable ride is the stock CT70, which wouldn't hang with you guys. I have to see if a deal at work goes through in the next couple days or so, so the dream is still alive. I think it would be fun to meet you guys and see your rides though.

You should definately try to work something like that out. I lived in England for 3 years, and trust me the lads across the pond are diehard bikers! I would suggest the Netherlands for the Assen MotoGP....it's a party like nothing you've ever experienced. As a bonus, it's only about a 45 minute ride to Amsterdam
