| My FrankenZ is Finished
After we blew something in the motor when we got it 4 years ago. I decided to go on quest to rebuild and make the z50 alive again. We regret the color now but at the time our race team was all yellow. This thing is like driving a tank around and how I missed how much fun this thing was to ride. Upgrades: Shocks Rims Seat Paint Job Big Gun Z50 pipe- * for some reason it wont fit on this bike* Its not the coolest thing out there but it a bomb A$$ cruiser. Does anyone know where I can get different colored plastics from? I would go with either yellow or Black.

I love that feeling when you take a dead motor, rebuild it and it fires up in a couple of kicks!! I vote for black fenders and black wheels. A cool motard look for your little Z |

black fenders would work, but what sucks is that you painted over those dents in the tank without at least bondo. It wouldnt have taken much time to clean that up.

I can always repair the tank when ever. My buddy does the powercoat for partically nothing. So I might still go ahead and redo the tank. Where can I buy black plastics from???

hondaminitrail has Chrome fenders. I have only seen the red plastic fenders from DRATV and hondatrailbikes. You might have to paint your fenders black. BTW, I don't think powdercoat will stick to bondo. |

It wont. if you need to fill a hole and have it stand up when it is baked for powdercoat you need to silver braze the area and then metalfinish it. | |

Looks decent. I'd paint the yellow the original honda orange color but it really doesn't look bad now. Where'd ya get the rear shocks? They look nice! I need some for my z50! |

I got the shocks awhile back from classic honda. They are kitaco shocks and they have a pretty nice ride and are adjustable.
