My latest find!

I have to stop buying these things! I have wanted a newer generation Z and is the only version I don't have. Super clean and had the Title! Which one of the 88-99 do you guys think looks the best?

I like the wings on the 98 tank. Here she is.

Is that bike really as clean as it looks in the pictures? Very nice.

Re: My latest find!

This thing is clean clean clean. I never dreamed I could find one this great. He said he took it up to a closed lumberyard and rode with his son in the parking lot a few times. No dirt! Crazy eh? I am happy. I was looking for one to build into a pit racer, but this one is too clean to touch! Guess I'll have to keep looking for a "used" one.

Re: My latest find!

Looks just like the one I picked up at a garage sale, also with title! Mine is not quite as clean, as it was ridden very gently, but in dirt conditions. Your's is amazing!

What did that one run you?

BTW, I like that tank and the 99's about the best of the later years.

Re: My latest find!

I do like the 99 as well. I think my favorite is the early orange with blue seats 88,89,90 I think. My dream has always been to get one and paint the frame orange and do a "David Bailey" replica with the 86 gold rims!

Re: My latest find!

I couldn't resist it. I paid $500 for it. He had the title too. I have had so many "steals" lately, that this just seemed okay. What do you guys think it is worth? The only real flaw is the bottom chain guard has a dent. Otherwise superclean. Any opinions on value?

I paid $450 for a mint one. If you write a good description, and take really good pics, you could double your $$ on ebay. $800-$1000 if you are patient. $500 is a steal for a mint late-model Z.

I agree on that note. I paid $425 I think at a garage sale for my 97 - came with two good kids mx helmets, a roost protector, some goggles and a clear title!

I previously paid about that for a near basket case 91 before I started to understand the mini market. You did very well and will make money if you want to!
