Thumbs up My New mint 1999 Z50R

I picked up this 1999 Z50R today. It is like brand new. the tires still have the colored bands under the tread. There is not a mark on this bike. I have never seen a nicer 1999 Z50R. It has all the original warning stickers and reflector, including the one under the back fender. The number plates are originally white and the guy put red stickers over the side and front number plates.
should I remove the stickers & numbers on the number plates?

doubt this bike has even had a tank of gas through it. Always stored inside.

Remove them, carefully.

Did you stumble upon this gem or purchase from a collector?

Looks nice.

I put an AD on craigslist wanted Z50R. This guy was 40 years old and had an 95 and 99 and he wanted to part the 99. He just kept it nice, The 95 was much more worn. He had a few other minis. pw50

so take the side ones off? I noticed it is reflective stickers on the plates. tried and it seems easy to peel. don't want to screw up the plastic underneath.

Yeah just set it in the sun for an hour, and maybe heat easy with a hair dryer if some stickers are stubborn.

Man if I had that I would make it into a SWEET supermoto/stunt bike. Little stubby 8" slicks

I can't keep anything stock.

You are right, mod the 91.

I would ditch them all if you want to go for the resto look?

That is a sweet ride tmas. How many minis do you have now?

Makes me wish I still had mine. I sold it to buy my other ZB50, a choice I can live with.

Nice bike, good score. The backgrounds dont look bad but if you want to keep it original, ditch em.

That is awesome. I can't believe the lines are still on the tires. That bike has probably never seen dirt.

hey SprNtrl
Yes they are stock reflectors. front and back and under the fender. I was told they only put them on the 1999's and most dealers used to throw them in the garbage. My other 1999 does not have the one under the fender. Maybe I can order one for it? the ZB50 has side reflectors too.
