My rear wheel is crooked...tell me it might not be a major problem!!

I recently purchased a '79 Z50R I found on Craigslist. I have now noticed that the rear wheel leans slightly to the left. I'm not a motorcycle mechanic by any stretch of the imagination, so tell me what could cause this problem. Hopefully it isn't a bent frame. Could it be a bent axle or a bad rear wheel? There is no noticable wobble when I ride it. Is there any chance this could be a minor fix?

Leans or is cocked to the left? If it's just cocked it could just be out of alignment and could easely be fixed bu adjusting the chain adjusters till straight.

Make sure the chain adjusters are in the same location on both sides, their should be little notches you can use for reference.

Looks more like the rear shock and fender mount is twisted then the wheel leaning to the left.

Agree! The wheel looks straight, the shock mounts is what looks tweaked.

sorry to say,but it looks like the frame is bent.take it apart and looks closer.also compare to another z,and try to untwist the rear section
