| My Z50-Monkey
I'm sure most of you remember seeing this bike in the classified forum last year. I purchased this bike from its original owner in September of 2008. He added most of its JDM bits you see. I've changed some things around and added some new parts to fit my needs. I just finished over-hauling the engine with a fresh TB 88cc Race Head Big Bore Kit, Thanks to Mike (Razzo) for hooking it up Split the cases and put them on the buffer to pretty them up, and just basically cleaned it up. The engine is an SL70 4-speed. I did the CDI conversion, which I'm VERY pleased with. Here's a list of some of the parts that are on the bike now: Honda NSR Forks and Caliper Mikuni Front Disc Hub and Disc Mikuni Top and Bottom Triple Clamps Mikuni Front Fender Kitaco Rear fairing/Seat Takegawa 10" Rims Takegawa Swingarm 330mm Rear Shocks (unknown) Soon to be swapped Daytona Handlebars Over Racing Exhaust (Stainless header with Ti. Canister) I am in the market for some new rear shocks (330-335mm) and a Paint job to finish this bike off. I am not sure what I want to do yet for paint. Any suggestions? Please tell me what ya think?? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Just beautiful Mike! Very very nice work. Glad to help you out. And excellent pictures also. Digi or 35mm? I like the fade on the edges too. |

Thanks guys for the kind words. Superness550 - I'm not all that familiar with the Mikuni Parts as I never knew they existed until I purchase the bike. I'm sure Dan can fill you in. Razzo - Thank you. The camera is just a Sony Digital. I use the program "Photoscape" to edit them. s_10onbagz - The disc is definitely larger than 160mm. I measured from side to side, and i got 8.5" (215mm), if that sounds right? |

Cool bike mike and i like what you have done with it. Those mikuni parts are keepers, you wont see many others here in the states with those parts. As for the rotor its most likely a 220mm rotor is thats the more standard size, never heard of a 215mm. |
