| My Z50R stupid question thread
I figured i would start a thread so i can keep all of my random/stupid Z50R questions in one thread without starting a bunch of useless threads(although this section is kinda slow). Hopefully you guys/gals will stop in here every once in a while and guide me through my learning stages. FWIW, I'll try and only ask questions that i can't answer by using the search function or doing google searches. Thanks for looking, and i have my flame suit on just incase my banter rubs anyone the wrong way. 1. What other year fiddy wheels will bolt up to my 96Z without major modification? Only reason i ask is so i can source a set of cheap backup wheels and put dirt tires on them for those rare trailriding/minimx occasions. Once again, thanks, you guys ROCK!!!!!!! and you're far more knowledgeable and mature than some of the goons in the other sections of this sight. |

| Re: My Z50R stupid question thread maybe i should have been more specific. . .what other complete wheels will fit? are the brake drums and axles different through the new bikes? basically, what complete wheels can i e-bay and mount up? thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge with me T-mas

you can get a set of used wheels from a z50 for a decent price. just get the whole set, wheels and hubs. unless you want to run something different as far as looks/asthetics. if that's the case i'm not sure. |

** - The hubs and brake panels are the same as the ones you have on your '96. *** - The brake panels are the same, but the wheel is narrower than the Z wheel, you will have to use/make wheel spacers to align them properly. | |
