My Mood: | New Front End Finally Arrived..Yaaaah!
I decided to plunge and beef up the front of my CT 70 about 3 months ago. Well 3 months later and some change it all arrived at my desk here at work. The parts are even better than what I had expected...!! GCraft Front hub and star adapter. Kitaco Light Mounts, Rotor with Nissan Caliper and lever etc. And a super nice beefy Aluminum triple tree! And some Upside Down Forks that I cant wait to take out the box. HUGE THANKS to Bob over at Home Page Motor City Mini Trails Bob sourced all the parts for me and I have to say the order came much higher quality than I had ever expected. Bob assembled everything at his shop and polished the triple trees, mounts etc. He would not ship it till everything was to his liking. My experience with Bob has been A++++ and have to give him props! Now to play patient and not try to install everything in one night. Will follow up with some more photos when mounted. Muxster |

Bob is good people and we've been friends for a long time. He won't do anyone wrong. Those faddybike parts don't look too bad! Take some better pics of the hub. I've never seen a G-craft hub that takes 5 bolts to mount the rotor. Looks like a faddy hub. FYI: The Thai Nissin "Nice" caliper is the same as the NSR50 nissin caliper except they have a different mounting bracket so the two don't interchange. The pads should interchange should you need replacement pads in the future. Did you get a 10" wheel speedo drive with the assembly as I don't see it in the pics. Keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing the pics with all the goodies mounted! |

Yah, 10" Speedo drive was included as well as all the mounting bolts and hardware etc. Its going to take me some time to carefully mount each piece. I will definately take some better photos when I get home.

Nice bling Plenty of stopping power with the dual piston nissin caliper and the 220mm nice disc. ps. if this is not enough stopping power, Faddybike even has a twin front disc kit for those forks (left and right dual piston nissin calipers, two 190mm(nsr size) discs and the hub to fit them on) May even be overkill at such a light bike |

Here are the forks... I wanted the black ones but would have taken longer to get. So the ones I have are all silver. |

What do you think about Gold forks with black triple tree? I can get the parts anno'd cheaply. Friend owns a shop that does it. I am going with Aluminum outers I was thinking gold rims with black centers and leave front hub silver |

Nice parts. As far as the gold goes, I'm not a fan but it's not my bike. If you're gonna anodize anything go with black. Black/green combo would be nice. JMO

I agree. Either black or polished for the wheels.

The bearings are holding me up. What do I need to lock the top of the roller bearings down on the top race? I do not have a nut for that other than the one on there now for the loose bearings. |
