i have had this old z50 that someone gave me to use for parts on another bike i fixed up. i want to fix it up and have an idea in mind on what i want to do but would like to know what the year is and what it looked like originally. also if its street legal. i dont have a title but i think i could find one or a frame with one. the vin number is Z50A-1038434 cananyone help me out and does anyone have parts that they would like to get rid of for this bike. im thinking resto mod i have a xr motor with 88 and race head and some other things but am missing alot of stuff. ill post pics later.

The VIN # you provided indicates it is a 1972 Z50AK3, the first year of the soft tail frame. Original colors for that year were either Candy Gold / Black or Light Ruby Red / Black.

ok so heres the pics of the project. As you can see it needs a lot of work and a fair amount of parts so if anyone has anything their willing to sell let me know

I have a bunch of mint NOS parts for your bike. Still sealed in Honda bags..

PM me if you want a new NOS seat, front fender, left grip, complete headlamp assembly, etc.. I can work you a little better deal over the online shops if you are interested. I bought a lot of stuff that I am not going to end up using at all.
I am not however looking to give this stuff away as it was expensive stuff! ^

I also have a set of wheels/hubs from a '73 that would fit your bike just fine. They need a decent cleaning and some new tires though. I'd powdercoat them, but I already bought Kitacos. PM me an offer or something. I even have a spare running motor from a '73 z50 somewhere I think.. no carb though.

i am interested in the seat that you have and the front fender as well as the headlight. do you have pics you can post of them and also do you have the wiring for the headlight and the switches to operate the headlight. also if you have the taillight and bracket. let me know what you have and pictures and prices.
