No Honda paint. Man, you're just going to keep pointing out every non-Honda thing I do.

I got them apart by putting a fat screwdriver between the top of the spring and the top shock mount. The place it fits in best it riht next the where the spring ends because the is a small gap there. Then get the tip of the screwdriver under the locknut and push in an adjustable end wrench. Then use another adjustable end wrench and put it on the top shock mount and loosen it. Then all you have to do is twist it off.

Next but not soon. The back tire treads are getting pretty round from spinning the tires in dirt. So when the tire gets replaced is when the wheels get painted.

I used 7777 black satin paint by Rust-Oleum and DSFM226 silver metallic by Dupli-Color. The silver is from Advance Auto Parts an the black is from WalMart. ![]() |

ya I am asking what heat shield are you talking about? The exhaust head shield. Your title doesn't make sense to me.

Nevermind the title. I did nothing to the exhaust heat shield. I just painted y shocks and wanted to use the title because it was similar to another thread. I said "no Heat Shield" because I did nothing to the heat shield.
