WEll hey eveyrone i thought that this site was pretty sweet having its own z50 forum. Well long story short i have owened my 1997 honda z50r since i bought it on 1997. Last summer someone stole it out of my garage and i actually found it in a shop a couple weeks ago being worked on. I was wondering if anyone had any platics for these bikes.. i dont care about condition or wat but i reall yneed them as i am rebuilding the bike.thanks for all teh help

did they give it back to you after you proved it was yours or did you have to go through the police? lucky you got it back

well i called teh police and they came up and took it and the vin were sanded down but they used acid to raise teh numbers

Sweet. Well, sweet that they got it back. Not sweet they had to in the first place. I don't think anyone makes different colored plastic if that's what you're looking for. But Hooper Imports does make reproduction plastic which is pretty much identical to stock.

How did you happen to find it being worked on in a shop? Did the thief get arrested?

well it is a local fifty shop in town and they were just working on it.. one of my friend went itn to get some parts and called me and i went and wa slike s thats my fifty and called teh cops. and then the kid who took it said he got it at a flea market or suttin like that so noone got in troubble which sux because it was i nnice cond when i had it.. tehn someone stole it and painte it black adn it look d beat.. teh engine is all apart. so I strippped it down sandbalasted it and painted it . It is back to a rolling chassi but i need some parts

Wow. I would be so pissed if someone even got a few drips of overspray onto my bike. I've got like $350 into cosmetics alone. How long was it gone for? What parts do you need? I always have mine in the closed garage, or under lock and key. I love my bike too much.

I need the rear fender, front numberplate, and also i need the footpegs and mount.and i think thats it until i Rebuild the ENgine!!!O GOD!!
