Sweet build, can I ride it?? lol Very cool, I would love to see picks of the wiring. I started my 79 z50 project (first monkey build). I was thinking of using bread bag wire ties and Mcdonald's straws to hide the wiring, but after seeing how clean your bike looks, I may have to try something different. Wait a minute.... Do you even really need wiring? Rich |

nice job on the build! I love the rear shocks, drilled levers and the blue dot in the lense I don't know what it is about that style bike but I always think they look weird. Maybe it's that the seat is higher than the tank? Or it could be that the tank looks tiny next to the gigantic "floating" seat. The seat appears to float above the bike. I dunno but I never liked the monkeys. Last edited by d0n; 05-13-2007 at 03:58 PM. |

superness - Local body shop does most of my painting, tank was purchased already painted. They blended the paint to match for me and I did the fender and motor parts. tmas - Yes, original ones did have speedo. This a total parts shelf resto-mod custom creation. DC50 - Yeah thats me. Backpack and beer in hand at Vegas. Got that off the Hardcore Minis site didn't ya? They are GREAT guys! Fiddies from the Great White North! d0n - I never cared for them either! But I picked up the tank years ago. Got the seat from superness. Had the Zonger...next I was mocking up a bike. Just happens with me like that. I know that seat is HUGE. But you know what, its sooo comfy!!!! Wow. Wasn't going to use it but tried it and was hooked. Thank you all for the kind words on the bike! Much Appreciated. Thanks! | |
