Figured this crowd would be the most likely to have an interest in this cool old Mini. Supposedly a 160cc overhead cam, 4 speed motor. eBay Motors: Ducati (item 320194819568 end time Dec-17-07 19 33 PST)![]() ![]() |

That's a benelli that someone put ducati stickers on, or ducati had those made by Benelli for them.

in the description the seller is pretty adamant in saying it is not a benelli and goes on to explain the differences between the two, as well as listing awards given to the bike at various shows. i would assume it would'nt win any best in show vintage trophies if it were a fake, but what do i know? he could always be lying about the authenticity of the bike as well as the trophies it has won

Like I said, if the bike is a geniune Ducati, it was manufactured by Benelli for Ducati. It has Benelli written all over it.

It shares the same engine as the Ducati Monza as well.

Probably is a Benelli built for Ducati as some sort of promotional item or the bike to get your kid when you just bought a new street stormer. Maybe they saw the Hondas and like all the other companies, tried their version of a Monkey. Frankly - I'd love to have it in my stable of odd stuff cuz it is just cool! |

At one time, I wanted a Honda CB92 (see attached) but knowing that the engine parts are close to impossible to find, one would have to resort to having the parts made to spec to fix things. And when you are talking about a very, very expensive bike, it's not worth the stress and headaches. | |
