NSR Sprockets on a four stroke

What size sprockets are you guys running on your NSR wheels and where did you get them? I am thinking a low 30's tooth for my Ape but just wondering where you guys got them if they were in the states or if I need to put another order in for over seas. Thanks

running 16 35 on my ZB with Daytona 4 speed race trans and 124+R.

Same guy that made my stator cover made it, same design pattern.

Most of the major JDM shops made NSR sprockets though.

Re: NSR Sprockets on a four stroke

Yeah I am running the 80cc Takegawa topend, haven't had a chance to go and count my current setup for teeth. I used a speed calculator to figure that I would like to run 14-33 for a nice top speed of 55-60 at about 9500rpm just not sure if the motor can pull that ratio or not.

Re: NSR Sprockets on a four stroke

Sprocket Specialists makes NSR50 sprockets. BEFORE you order, measure your bolt spacing. If your wheels are like mine and run tighter spacing than normal, I've already got a custom sprocket number setup with SS to match.

Re: NSR Sprockets on a four stroke

what would the tighter spacing be? I don't have anything to measure against to know the difference....

Re: NSR Sprockets on a four stroke

Dan - What kurlon is referring to is I think Sprocket Specialists has their NSR50 sprockets cut wrong. All NSR50 wheels, both 3 and 6 spoke all use the same sprockets. I've had 3 different pairs of wheels and the spacing is all the same between all years. Kurlon ordered one and it did not fit, so he sent them one and they made the correct sprocket for him.

Ah exactly what you were saying before. I didn't think Honda would go out of their way and make two different versions.....
