| Which oil do you use???
I think this has been covered before, I did a search and could not find the thread. I have always used the 10w-40 GN4 Honda brand oil in my bikes because of what the bottle says about it being superior to regular oils for use in motorcycles....they claim that it properly lubes the tranny and clutch which regular motor oils do not. Is this true or is this all B.S.??? For those that use regular motor oil, which I am considering, which brands and viscosities do you use??? If I go with a 10w-30 regular motor oil will I notice any difference in shifting or performance??? What would this do to a semi-auto clutch??? What brands and viscosities do you reccomend??? Thanks! |

rock oil synthesis 4!!!!!! 10 50 use it in my BBR 150, takagawa 3 speed 124se, NICE motor, and my 50 with a takagawa 82 kit and stock tranny. |

I use Bel Ray 4 stroke thumper oil. It is 10/40 i believe.

15W40 Rotella every other time i ride i change the oil !! always clean!!
